LENT Begins February 22, 2012

Lent is the time of year when many Christians seek the truth behind the paradox of subtraction equals addition. Fasting, practiced faithfully by biblical figures, is coming back into vogue. More and more Christians find the spiritual discipline brings enlightenment and enrichment to their lives.

The season of Lent begins on February 22, 2012. Each year, our church and the churches in our area have different events to celebrate Lent. Lent is 40 days before Easter and is a time to prepare our hearts for the Easter celebration. We invite you to join us for our Ash Wednesday service which will be held together with Butler UMC.
